Just this morning I got up, turn on the TV & found that Britney has a new reality show!? Yap I got up on wrong foot …. but what’s up with that reality prefix!? It’s like everything now is a reality thing from commercials & TV shows to porn places … You see up till now when You film something out of real life it was a documentary & nothing comes as documentary any more ’cause it just isn’t cool!? Just what real is there in reality shows!?
Take the Osbourne’s as an example … do You think they are real!? that they all go crazy & stuff all day long!? I admit they are somewhat different but do You really believe they don’t have scripts, made up scenes!? Try to check them when cameras are off … You’ll be surprised! How com Jack had a drug problem off cameras!? Couldn’t coupe with “reality”!? Yeah … right!!!
Or how about Big Brother …

… what’s real about that!? Someone made up the scene of a house with people in it for 100 days & someone gave them their tasks … did I miss the concept behind it!? Yes I know they don’t act, I hope, but then again is it normal for You to have a task of telling a joke to others!? I guess it’s rather the moment that inspires when You decide it’s a time for joke …. YOU DECIDE not the screen play! And do You have an irresistible urge to be liked by others so You could stay at home!? Don’t think so … so where’s reality in that!? Except in those strange moments when someone has sex The word got into adult bizz fast as well … hell I even believe guys from the adult XXX invented it or re-invented it!!! Let’s take a look at this cultural phenomenon through our porn lenses:
Reality place usually means that girls/boyz are real (what ever that may mean. It’s like the other sites don’t have real girls/boyz!?) & from the very beginning they don’t know that they’ll be fucked & filmed. I must admit it’s a great concept cause everyone can imagine & would love to see himself in action like that … it’s just too bad that it isn’t true!!! Come one … I have seen same girl on more than few reality places & porn movies!? & I just can’t believe she’s always THE sucker (well, in a way she is You see I don’t believe that people believe in this reality thing & since I’m writing this with absolutely no clue just pure & unrefined morning anger for being a sucker & watching those reality shows I realize one obvious truth:
It’s a story that sells here!!! Not the prefix … the story that gives You the opportunity to see how would people react to certain situations & allow You to imagine Yourself in those same situations & experience it without participating. In a way You live through those situations without any scratches … come to think of it it’s why PAINT-BALL is so god!? Because it allows You to experience war like situation without danger of getting killed!!
OK … from hater to believer through writing. I guess keyboard is mightier that a sword I’ll be off looking for reality place that matches my needs then I’ll check what’s up with those lab rats at Big Brother … please comment on this!? THIS IS REAL!!!
